1. There is a disclaimer on the machine releasing any liability 2. Test results are not recorded in the machine and give no printed receipts 3. In order for a breathalyzer test result to be valid in court, it would need to be given by a police officer or other agent of the goverment. These test are self-administered and are considered " non-evidential" in a court of law. It is the same as a personal handheld device.
